The following benefits are covered to a maximum of $2000 per family per 24 month period:


Hearing Aid


The following are changes that have been agreed to in the latest round of bargaining which will have an affect on retirees:

  • Increase to chiropractic coverage: $40 per session with $1000 maximum in a 24 month period
  • Increase to physiotherapy coverage: $65 per session with $1500 maximum in a 12 month period
  • The benefit plan year shall be January 1st – December 31st effective January 1st, 2019.  In order to achieve this, there will be a new $1000 lump sum per family available for Optical, Dental and Hearing Aids.  This lump sum will cover the period of March 1st 2018- December 31st 2018. Effective January 1st 2019, the 24 month period and the $2000 lump sum will re-calibrate
